Don't suffer abuse in silence, pleads young victim

13/ 3/2008

THE brave victim of a Cheadle sex attacker has spoken out to encourage other young Asian girls not to suffer abuse in silence.

Piyush Jain, 37, of Park Lodge Close, was sentenced to 14 months' imprisonment last month after he was found guilty of three counts of indecent assault.

And now his victim, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has courageously decided to visit schools and community groups to tell of her ordeal.

I hope that Mr. Jain gets some unsympathetic treatment whilst in custody.

It's good to see that British Muslims are bringing themselves into the 20th Century. A brave girl and deserves the respect and support of us all.

I hope that by doing this the young women will gain strength & no longer feel a victim of this mans perversions. She has the potential to reach thousands of young women & change their lives. What an inspiration. The very best of luck.
