Great Moor ‘going to dogs’

GREAT Moor is a community under fire say residents who have joined forces to tackle the teenage yobs they say are making their lives a misery.

Stepping Hill Area Committee was packed to the rafters on Monday night with angry residents fed up over increasing incidents of anti-social behaviour.

   I live in Great Moor and its definitely gone downhill over the last 18 Months. There are frequently large groups of youths hanging around on the street. A Gang of youths were trying to kick someones front door on my street at the weekend, and this morning I get up to see my car, and others on the street has been vandalised again.

   Lets be honest here, it's not just Great Moor. A lot of Areas in and around Stockport hve exactly the same problems. Until the council, police and parents do something this state of lawlessness is only going to get worse - and don't get me started on the latest news about travellers getting a permanent site.
