'My Rangers mob terror'

A STOCKPORT police officer has told how he was kicked and stamped on by a rampaging mob of more than 20 Glasgow Rangers fans during the shocking violence that marred the Uefa Cup Final in Manchester.

Pc Mick Regan, 47, was battered on the ground as he slipped after helping a colleague under attack from bottle-throwing fans.

In dramatic scenes captured by police cameras, the former Territorial Army corporal is seen being kicked, punched and stamped on by the gang of thugs.

    If you truly think there were no local yobs in the thick of the trouble and they were all just travelling Scottish hooligans then I have a nice pier at Blackpool I can sell you cheap.

   Yes I agree that I thought there was a No street drinking policy now, so what happened to that then. And all the fans who disgraced football that night should be ashamed and we shouldn't allow hooligans who cant have a drink without causing trouble into manchester again!!! Its a disgrace and you all have now spoilt it for us manchester fans.

   Who's fault was this? manchester city council's. Isnt there a NO STREET DRINKING POLICY. And what do they do ship in a tanker of beer, how cleaver is that. then our police have to try to control the idots that have come to our city to cause trouble. And it is us the tax payer that have to pay to clean up all the mess. No wonder people are leaving this country. All i can say is WELL DONE MANCHESTER!!!!
