the way i see it, it was self defence, the guy had a gun on me, the other one could have been concealing weapons. i also didn't do it for the money, that's insured anyway, i did it because people like that shouldn't be allowed to get away with it, the next time they did it someone could easily have been hurt, i had an opportunity to stop them so i did.

   Silly, not worth the risk for someone elses money.

   "Although the actions of the staff were extremely brave, I would appeal to anyone that may find themselves in a similar position to comply with any demands and contact the police at the earliest opportunity."

That quickly translates as "well done lads but don't do it again". The standard disclaimer for a risk averse Britain. Well, personally, I do say well done and your spirit is an example to us all. Being at the wrong end of a weapon is not pleasant.
