Vicar is accused of breaking vote rules

A STOCKPORT vicar is to be reported to the police over allegations he broke electoral rules.

The allegation is being made against Rev James Bates, the vicar at St Alban’s Church and St John, Offerton, who was elected in May to Offerton Parish Council.
