Brinnington petitions for home closure
Barbara Simpson29/11/2006
RESIDENTS living near a children's home in Brinnington are calling for its closure after suffering years of abuse from the teenage tenants.
I know brinny well enough, try giving all the kids in the place their own keyworkers, involving the yot where neccesary & sending some detached youth workers round?
These kids are already in a vulnerable position & don't need the grief in return, they need help. Are the residents 100% sure that it's even the kids from the home causing the problems or is it just that they don't recognise them as 'locals'?
