TEENAGE black belt Ethan Ward should be an inspiration to all parents with autistic children - according to his karate instructor.

   I was born and bred in Stockport but after marrying moved to Leicestershire. I find reading your paper keeps me in touch with what is happening so imagine my surprise when I read this article about Ethan he is my nephews son and I was so proud. Ethan has had a very difficult time with his illness and I know his gran Mary Ward would be so proud of him, Mamie was a well known and well liked nurse at the Infirmary for many years. well done Ethan and love from Aunty Tricia xx
