My New Year's resolution

IF YOU have the good fortune to be a goose, people appreciate
a pleasant plumpness in your person at Christmas. They'll even sing
songs about you. But no one likes a fat reporter (with the possible
exception of the corpulent fellows of Truffle Times).
I think you look pretty good as you are ! Can't wait to see the new you, I too am a Dorset dumpling, but I'm giving up the carbs and the knob ( Dorset, that is) However one does not want to totally deprive one's self, so I indulge in the occasional iced gem. Will be keeping abreast of your progress. Bye B xxx
