THE glitzy Atlantic Suite at Manchester Airport was the venue for Stockport School youngsters when they celebrated their end-of-year prom.
The Year 11 pupils all dressed up for the evening and many arrived in limousines.
They were treated to a delectable buffet before the evening kicked off with dancing and music hosted by DJ Nigel.
Pupil support worker Pauline Moynihan, who attended the celebrations said: "It was lovely to see them all dressed up and enjoying themselves.
"There were lots of photos taken and quite a few tears.
"It was an emotional evening but they had a lot of fun too."
Head of Year 11 Sue Reckless, who organised the event, said: "It was superb.
"It was the day the exams finished so it was a double celebration really.
"The kids looked fantastic - the boys wore their tuxedos and the girls wore tiaras.
"The food was fantastic and there was no misbehaving. I just kept thinking how terrific they all looked."
