MEMORIES of the past five years of high school were in full flow as Year 11 pupils at Marple Hall School in Marple celebrated their school prom.
Youngsters left the school in style as they headed to Stockport County's Pavillion Suite in a convoy of stretch limos eager to celebrate the end of an era.
At the club pupils and staff enjoyed a sit-down meal before donning their dancing shoes to make the most of the disco.
Year 11 co-ordinator Norma Simms said: "It was a tremendous, never-to-be-forgotten glitzy night and 270 students dressed in total sophistication joined in the celebration.
"Most of them said it was the best night of their lives and what a wonderful reward it was at the end of five years work.
"The staff enthused about the students' maturity, good humour and their show of gratitude on the night. They were all brilliant and we wish them the best of luck in the future."
