Offerton High School

15/10/2002

YOUNG people from Offerton High School got in the party spirit early.

The Year 11s held their end of school prom in May.

Dressed up to the nines, they visited the Atlantic Suite of Manchester Airport to enjoy a boogie and some karaoke.

Most of the school's staff also attended the bash - and got in on the singing action.

Mike Harrison, head of Year 11, said: "A good time was had by all and there was a lot of karaoke singing going on."

Mr Harrison plans to retire at the end of this year after more than 30 years of teaching in Stockport.
