REINDEER aren’t the only unusual creatures to be delivering presents at this time of year.
More than 300 hairy bikers roared on to the campus of Stockport’s Together Trust charity to donate Christmas toys and gifts.
The parade of the Harley Davidson hogs has become a regular occurrence at the Cheadle HQ, as the Roughley’s Bike Show has made this a Christmas tradition. All the presents are distributed to the children and young people the Together Trust serves.
Philippa Mitton, fundraising manager, was delighted to once again greet the not-so-scary bikers.
“It’s a fantastic scene to see them flood through the campus gates,” she said.
“We really are so very grateful that they continue to support us both at Easter and Christmas.”
Philippa added: “Some of our young people in care may not receive any gifts at Christmas if it wasn’t for the generosity of people like Andy and Lisa Roughley - and the rest of their team.”
