Passenger dies after road accident

A CHEADLE Hulme man has died following a crash near Manchester Airport yesterday (Wednesday).
Keith Mayne, aged 65, of Southdown Crescent, was sat in the back of a Fiat Punto that was turning right from Styal Road onto Ringway at about 7.20am, when the car was involved in a collision with a white Vauxhall Vivaro van.
Mr Mayne suffered serious injuries in the collision and died last night. Two women, aged 51and 72, who were the driver and front seat passenger of the Fiat, suffered slight injury.
The man driving the van was not injured.
