Saucy video Miss opts for career in acting

3/ 9/2008

A STOCKPORT Grammar teacher who was suspended after her involvement in a steamy internet video came to light, is now believed to be turning to a career in TV.

As previously reported in the Stockport Express, Sarah Green was suspended earlier this year from the £7,000-a-year private school after pupils spotted her on an internet website in a promotional DVD for Scruffs work clothing.

In the clip, distributed nationally around building companies, and later screened on a Chris Tarrant TV show, Sarah plays a flirtatious secretary who gets into passionate clinches with a builder wearing Scruffs workwear.

A pupil realised it was ‘Miss Green’ in the clip - which ended up on YouTube, where it was watched by millions of internet users and prompted an investigation by the school.

Following that investigation governers decided not to take disciplinary action and Sarah was invited to return to her post as English teacher.

However, it has been widely reported that Sarah has now decided to turn her back on teaching and pursue a career in TV instead.

A school spokesperson told the Express: "After extensive discussion with the management of Stockport Grammar School and her own advisers about the circumstances attending her return to the school’s teaching staff, Sarah Green has decided to pursue her career elsewhere.

"The school emphasises that a full investigation of her participation in promotional material, before she became a teacher, found that there were no grounds for disciplinary action. Miss Green leaves the school with its good wishes for her future success."

   Sarah,

This appears to be constructive dismissal. Get yourself a good lawyer.

Good luck with your new career in TV.
