Girls Aloud’s fairy Godmother adds Christening sparkle

THERE'S one fairy Godmother who's taking her new role seriously this year.
But popstar Sarah Harding has not swapped the charts for the panto stage. The Girls Aloud star was in fact fulfilling her official duties as Godmother to little Rheece William Sapiano-Thomas at his christening at the weekend.
The 23-year-old joined Rheece's parents Joanne and Will, along with friends and family for the christening at St George's Church, Heaviley.
Joanne, who runs Poynton Hair Design, has been pals with the chart-topper since their school days at Hazel Grove High School.
"Rheece is gorgeous," said Sarah. "I love buying him clothes and dressing him up. My favourite outfit I've got him is a little all-in-one which makes him look like a gnome."
And despite Sarah, from Bramhall, now living in London, the pair remain true friends.
Joanne said: "Sarah was an obvious choice as a Godparent, as I know she'll always be there for him.
"She was very proud at the christening, as were all the Godparents. It was just a great day."
The christening celebration continued at High Lane Conservative Club, where the room was bursting with balloons provided by Regans Party Company, as Sarah enjoyed a welcome break from the capital before a hectic promotional push with the band.
"We've got a really busy few weeks ahead, we've got two singles out, an album, and the launch of the Girls Aloud dolls, all before Christmas, so it's really nice to have had a couple of weekends off before then," added Sarah.
