STOCKPORT'S favourite Bobby Dazzler, TV antiques expert David Dickinson, has been enjoying his first week in the Australian jungle.
But within moments of parachuting in to the popular reality TV show, 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here' David was forced to get up close and personal with his phobia - rats.
The Bargain Hunt presenter, who at 64 is the camp's oldest inhabitant, was picked to take part in the first 'Bushtucker Trial' together with ex-EastEnder Sid Owen. And as part of the challenge, David had to plunge his hand into a bowl of sharp-toothed rats.
The perma-tanned presenter from Cheadle Heath, began his career running an antiques shop in Disley, after attending Cheadle Heath Primary School and Avondale in Edgeley.
David, who is second favourite to win just behind Sid Owen, lists his fears as wallowing in mud, rats and heights. His special skill is sunbathing.
