Lancs fall short

LANCASHIRE slumped to a two-run defeat against Scotland in the Friends Provident Trophy as the visitors continued their remarkable record at Old Trafford.

The Saltires managed to defend their modest 155 for nine by preventing the Lightning from getting eight off the last over and four off the last ball.

   I`ve always thought the weather is Lancashire greatest enemy given the frequency over the years they come to winning matches only to be undone by rain. It is very frustrating as a fan. But the lost vs Scotland yet again at OT was very unexpected and prove the team`s failure to grasp the bull by the horns when it really matters. Pok,S`pore
