Community day a big hit.

STOCKPORT County were delighted with the response to their Football in the Community Day against Chester.
More than 200 families took advantage of the club’s special tickets issued through local primary schools, which resulted in more than 600 new fans packing the smile family block on the pop side.
The gate of 5,566 maintained the Hatters’ position as the fourth-best supported club in League Two, with their average of 5,500 almost 12 per cent higher than the corresponding period last season.
Another big crowd is expected a week on Saturday when big-spending Peterborough United visit Edgeley Park for a game designated ‘season ticket day’.
As a big thank-you to their 3,000-strong army of season ticket holders, the club have introduced a special offer [using voucher B] where adult season ticket holders can bring friend along against promotion-chasing Posh for just £5, or an under-16 for £3.
Junior season ticket holders are not forgotten, either. They can bring a pal with them for £3.
And, as an extra-special incentive, every season ticket holder that takes advantage of the scheme will be entered into a draw for one of the popular blue and black striped shirts worn by the first-team in all the pre-season friendlies - a prize money can’t buy!
