Johnny eager to get started

COUNTY’S new right-back Johnny Mullins can’t wait to get his career underway at his new club.

After signing a two-year deal following his switch from Mansfield Town last week, Mullins, last season’s Player of the Year at Field Mill, said: "The people I’ve met at the club have been very welcoming.

"Assistant manager Peter Ward took me up to Manor Farm to have a look round and it’s excellent, I’ve really liked what I’ve seen.I work hard, I’m a right-back that likes to get forward, help the attackers, get up and down the line, so hopefully I can bring something to the team. I’m just really looking forward to getting started and climbing the league table from the off."
