BIG DOM: County’s Dominic Blizzard gets up for a header in Saturday’s game against Leicester City at Edgeley Park.
Plenty more to come

THERE’S still much, much more to come from County this season as they continue to try and establish themselves in League One.
That’s the considered view of Hatters midfielder Dominic Blizzard, who exclusively spoke to the Express after Saturday’s hard-earned goalless draw at home to mega-bucks Leicester City.
When asked to reflect on all three of County’s games this season so far - two League draws and a single-goal Carling Cup defeat - former Watford and MK Dons star Blizzard said: "These first three games of the season have, for me, shown that we shouldn’t fear anyone. In the first game against Huddersfield I felt we were the better team, then at Leicester last Tuesday we worked extremely hard, although of course having a man sent off early didn’t help us. Leicester showed just what a good side they are at Edgeley Park, there aren’t going to be many better than them, but looking at ourselves we’ve just got to keep improving. I don’t think we’ve got out of the starting blocks yet. We need to play at a quicker tempo, and be more confident about playing our own game rather than worrying about other teams. We’re happy enough with a point from Saturday’s game, but there is still plenty of room for improvement. It’s still going to take a while to see who are going to be the stronger teams in League One this season, but we’ve just got to look to establish ourselves at this level, not fear anyone, and keep pushing on. It doesn’t matter who we’re going to play though, I’m sure the wins will come very soon."
Although Saturday’s draw at home against Leicester City was by no means a bad result, Blizzard did also reveal that again there’s room for improvement.
The County schemer added: "I thought we made hard work of Saturday’s game. All the lads were a little bit disappointed with our performance. Of course Leicester are going to be one of the strongest teams in our division this season, but as for ourselves, I thought we were a bit hesitant. We didn’t quite get into our stride."
That’s an honest assessment from Blizzard who, along with skipper Gareth Owen, just missed out on the Express’s ‘star man’ award to goalkeeper Owain fon Williams.
