All eyes are on super County!

COUNTY'S dream run of eight wins with eight clean sheets has certainly caught the attention of local and national media outlets over the last ten days - I've seen it myself and it's been fantastic to have played a small part in what's been going on.

Jim Gannon set the publicity ball rolling when he spoke to Mark Clemmet on Radio Five Live's Monday Night Club. The following night's epic victory over league leaders Walsall was then filmed for Sky Sports News for a special goals/highlights/post-match reaction broadcast.

On top of that Peter Stevenson interviewed Gannon at home in the afternoon before going along to Edgeley Park [where he sat besides yours truly] with his cameraman to obtain more footage prior to editing it down for Thursday's Football League Review.

Popular 20-year-old goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey has also received plenty of attention from the likes of ITV, the Daily Mail and the Sun.

I was at County's Manor Farm training ground last Thursday and the place was absolutely buzzing. You could almost feel the electricity in the air.

All the players, the staff, and Jim Gannon and Peter Ward, were so welcoming though [I didn't really expect otherwise], and the all-day breakfast I tucked into was first class!

It was even better than my mother's!
