Scrum-half switch

SHARKS scrum-half Sililo Martens is swapping places with Llanelli Scarlets’ Dwayne Peel.

Martens is heading to Wales at the end of the season to join Scarlets while Peel is heading in the opposite direction to Edgeley Park.

Martens said: "With everything that is happening off the pitch with the Scarlets at the moment, this is an exciting time to be part of the region’s future plans.

"I know I’ve got huge boots to fill at the Scarlets but anyone that knows me will know that I am always up for a challenge."

Martens joined Sharks three seasons ago, before that he played for Welsh sides Swansea, Bridgend and Celtic Warriors.
