Show off silverware

RUGBY teams that have won a trophy this season are being offered the chance to parade their silverware around Edgeley Park.

Winners, from tag rugby to senior sides, can turn out for the Parade of Champions, which will take place before Sharks’ last home game against London Irish on Saturday, May 10.

The parade will commence at approximately 2pm (the game kicks-off at 3pm) and, at half-time, there will be a group photograph with the captain of each team, and all of the trophies.

The teams can also watch Sharks attempt to finish the season on a high by clinching a spot in the play-off semi-finals.

Teams wishing to show off their silverware are entitled to special group prices for seats in the Britannia Stand.

The junior team package is available, for 20 juniors (under 16) and five adults, at a cost of £150.

For senior teams, 20 adult tickets cost £200. Additional tickets can be purchased if required.

Places are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Payment must be received by May 5.

THE fight for a top four finish looks set to go right to the wire this season, and Sharks are anticipating that nine points will be needed from their last two games.

The last regular game of Sale’s league season is a rare and vital Saturday fixture at Edgeley Park on May 10 (kick-off 3pm) when Sharks entertain Heineken Cup semi-finalists London Irish.
