Munster ticket rush

SINCE the announcement of the Heineken Cup dates last week, sales of Sharks season tickets have surged as supporters look to guarantee a ticket for the Munster game on Sunday, October 19 (kick-off 1pm).

At present, due to the expected number of season ticket holders and club obligations to Munster, central sponsors and Sky, this game is already close to selling out.

Sharks believe it is therefore unlikely that they will have any Munster tickets available for general sale.

The only way to guarantee a seat for this fixture is by purchasing a Sharks season ticket.

The season ticket package includes 11 Guinness Premiership matches, three Heineken Cup games, two EDF Energy games and two pre-season friendlies.

Prices start from £149 for adults (£8.76 per game) and £59 for children (£3.47 per game).

Sharks begin their Heineken Cup campaign with an away match against French club Clermont Auvergne on October 11 (kick-off 2.35pm).

The other games set in Sharks’ European schedule are home fixtures against Munster on October 19 and Montauban on December 5 (kick-off 7pm).

Montauban away will follow on the weekend of December 12, with Sale playing Munster away on January 16, 17 or 18.

Clermont Auvergne will come to Edgeley Park on the weekend of January 23 for the final fixture of the Heineken Cup pool stages.
