TICKETS are now on sale for Sharks’ first league game of the new season at Edgeley Park.

The visitors for the tie on Friday, September 12 are Saracens, who Sale beat 34-30 in the same fixture last year.

For those in need of a rugby fix before then there are three pre-season matches taking place at Edgeley Park.

The first is a friendly double-header on Friday, August 22, against Sedgley Park at 6.30pm and Leeds Carnegie at 8pm. Be there to see the players back in action and raring to go for the new season.

In the final pre-season home game, on Thursday, August 28 (kick-off 7.45pm), Sharks take on Lyon, who are managed by Raphael Saint-Andre, the brother of Sharks’ director of rugby Philippe Saint-Andre.

SHARKS are offering mascot and ballboy packages for next season. Children who become mascots will get to meet the players before the game for pictures and autographs and run onto the pitch with the team.

They will also receive a personal Sale Sharks photo, a finger buffet plus refreshments, a goodie bag and a Sharks’ shirt with a name and number of their choice on it.

The mascot package costs £199, with two adult and two junior match tickets, or £150 without match tickets.

The ballboy package costs £160 for 16 participants. The team or group of friends will get to perform a guard of honour for the Sharks and be closer to the action than ever before.
