Deadline looming

THE deadline to purchase a Sale Sharks’ season ticket will be at 12noon on Tuesday, August 26.

The club are urging season ticket holders from last year, who have not yet renewed their passes, or supporters wishing to purchase a new season ticket, to do so before the deadline, in order to receive the best value ticket prices.

Two pre-season friendlies at Edgeley Park will be included in the season ticket package.

The first game is a double-header on Friday, August 22 which will see the Jets v Sedgley Park (kick-off 6pm) followed by Sharks v Leeds Carnegie (kick-off 8pm). The following week Sharks take on Lyon on Thursday, August 28 (kick-off 7.45pm).

Sharks’ first home Premiership game is against Saracens on September 12, followed by Gloucester later that month, and then a huge Heineken Cup encounter against Munster in October.

The only way to guarantee a seat for the Munster game is by buying a season ticket.

Sharks are also expecting the Boxing Day game against Guinness Premiership Champions, London Wasps, to sell out.

Season tickets guarantee your seat at 11 Guinness Premiership matches, three Heineken Cup games, two EDF Energy games and two pre-season friendlies.

Prices start from £149 for adults (£8.76 per game) and £59 for children (£3.47 per game).
