SALE Sharks will kick off the new Zurich Premiership season a week on Sunday in a newly designed playing strip - thanks to merchandising manager Lisa Robinson.

And supporters of the side will be able to get their hands on the shirts when the Sharks face Glasgow in a pre-season warm up game at Edgeley Park on Friday evening.

"I was proud when I saw the players wearing the new shirts at the official press day last month," said Robinson. "The design of the shirts is down to me although I did have some help from Cotton Traders."
