Ladies night at Edgeley

SALE Sharks have joined together with the Rugby Football Union for Women to host a night dedicated to women's rugby when the Sharks face Premiership new boys Worcester Warriors at Edgeley Park on Friday night.

The Sharks are inviting all women's rugby clubs from around the north west to take part in a parade around the pitch prior to the kick-off while the newly-formed Sandbach Girls under-14s squad will change the face of ballboys forever when they become ball girls for the night.

North-west contact for the RFUW, Caroline Wolfedale said: "The demand for women's and girls' rugby is growing daily, and hopefully the publicity we can generate through Sale Sharks will help us find enthusiastic volunteers and coaches to provide rugby in a safe, friendly environment."
