Gloucester 24 Sale Sharks 14

SALE Sharks slumped to their third league defeat in 13 days going down 24-14 against Gloucester at Kingsholm on Friday night.

Despite taking an early lead through a Byron Hayward penalty, Sale were well beaten with Gloucester picking up a bonus point having scored four tries.

Philippe Saint-Andre's men are in European Challenge Cup action on Friday, December 3 when they travel to Narbonne in their second round, first leg tie.
