Elwood backs Kilner

SOCCER: County chairman Brendan Elwood has again given his backing to under-fire boss Andy Kilner.
Fans voiced their anger again, following a second successive home, with many calling for the axing of Kilner.
But the Edgeley Park supremo says he backs Kilner and says it's vital the club retains stability in their bid to get off the bottom of the table.
"I am not panicking. I don't like the position we're in, just as Andy won't like it, but we need stability at this club," Elwood said.
"One win will turn all this around."
The chairman added he is now 'quite prepared to ride this out'.
He added: "Chairman are blamed if they sack a manager too quickly and then they are blamed if they don't get rid of them.
"I've sacked two managers in those 13 years and neither of them were for football reasons. I am quite prepared to ride this out."
