SOCCER: Andy Kilner and assistant Des Bulpin have left Stockport County by mutual consent, a club statement says.

The statement on the club's website says, 'Following discussions between the chairman Brendan Elwood and the manager during the weekend, the contracts of Andy Kilner and his assistant Des Bulpin have been terminated by mutual consent.

'The chairman and the board of directors would like to place on record their gratitude for the hard work of Andy and Des during their time at Edgeley Park.

'Reserve team manager Craig Madden will be in charge of the team for tomorrow night's home fixture against Walsall and the club hope that the supporters will turn out in force to give Craig and the players their full support.

'The club expect to make an announcement regarding the vacant manager's position later this week.'
