Cunningham quits Town

27/10/2004

PAUL Cunningham has resigned as manager of local North West Counties league outfit Cheadle Town due to increasing work commitments.

Cunningham has been in charge of the club for just over two years, but they are currently struggling two places off the bottom of division two.

Town wish to thank Cunningham and Coyle for their devotion, time and effort during the past two years.

Taking over as manager with immediate effect is Trevor Howard, a former boss at Mid-Cheshire League side Wilmslow Albion.
