STOCKPORT'S emerging hopeful Danny Harding stretched his professional record to two wins in two fights on Friday night at the Altrincham Leisure Centre.

Harding, who boxes at lightweight, beat Neil McQuade on points over four three-minute rounds.

Harding said: "It was good to get going again and get back in the ring.

"It's been six months since my pro debut, but I felt good on Friday and it's just a question of keeping going now.

"I'm determined to keep busy."

Harding's manager Steve Wood confirmed to the Express on Monday that Harding is likely to make his third pro outing in September or October.

Harding trains at the Northside ABC in Clayton.
