WOODLEY Sports boss Ally Pickering knows that his in-form team will have to be at their very best on Saturday if they are to overcome Cheshire rivals Witton Albion in the last 32 of the FA Trophy competition.

Woodley host the UniBond Premier Division high-fliers in what is already being spoken about as one of the biggest games in the Steelmen's history.

Pickering said: "It's a big game for the club and the players.

"But we're nine game unbeaten now so I'll just be saying to the lads to keep playing the way they have been doing.

"Witton are doing well in the Premier Division and they have been to take a look at us twice in recent weeks, but I'm just looking for the lads to keep the ball rolling basically.

"We've already shown against the likes of Marine and Whitby this season that we can beat loftier teams, but Witton will be up for Saturday.

"We'll have to be right on our toes."

Striker Mario-Sergio Daniel is suspended for Saturday's crunch clash at Lambeth Grove, but apart from him Pickering has a full-strength squad to choose from.

That squad includes recent loan capture Cavell Coo.

The full-back has done well since joining Woodley a fortnight ago from League One Crewe Alexandra.

In the league Woodley drew 0-0 at Cammell Laird on Saturday.

Last Tuesday night Pickering's side had striker Danny Queeley to thank for a late equaliser in a decent 1-1 draw at Skelmersdale United.
